Microsoft 365 admin center

Microsoft has released new Microsoft 365 admin center for admins which will replaces current Office 365 admin center. This is available to Targeted Release customers now and will be available worldwide by the end of July’18. If you wish to use the Microsoft 365 admin center now, and are not in Targeted Release, you can access your new admin center experience by navigating your web browser to https://admin.microsoft.com/.

According to Microsoft Blog on Microsoft 365 , Microsoft 365 is a complete, intelligent solution, including Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security, that empowers everyone to be creative and work together, securely.

To address the commercial needs from the largest enterprise to the smallest business, Microsoft introducing Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Business.

New Microsoft 365 Admin Center is a single place for admins to get started with Microsoft 365. Using the familiar UI of the Office 365 Admin Center, Microsoft 365 admins can use this space to manage their tenant and access the depth admin experiences necessary for their job. A new Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, as well as Microsoft 365 Device Management can easily be accessed from the main admin center. The Security and Compliance Center will be available shortly, with Device Management to follow afterwards.

Admins previously using the Office 365 admin center to manage Office 365 will now use the Microsoft 365 admin Center. The Microsoft 365 admin center is your central location for managing and monitoring applications, services, data, devices, and users across your deployment. The Microsoft 365 admin center experience is very similar to the Office 365 admin center. The navigation is the same, and you’ll have the same granularity of control over your environment. As you add new apps and services like device management, those will light up in your left navigation pane. Most importantly, you’ll receive all the latest admin center updates and features as they become available. There will be no change to your Office 365 subscription or billing.
