Mail forwarding to multiple users in exchange. All the mails which are received by a mailbox can be forwarded to another mailbox in Exchange admin center. We may required to set mail forward to multiple users in some scenario. In exchange, mail forward can be set to a single mail box and cannot be set multiple mailboxes by default.
To overcome this limitation, we can forward it to distribution lists and add multiple members to that DL to achieve the mentioned scenario of enabling forward to multiple users.
We trying to set forward in my mailbox to user1 & user2 but unable to set it for both users. So created DL and added both users to DL , now set forward to the DL – Now mail will be forwarded to both users.
1.Login to Exchange admin center , explore into recipients -> groups -> New Distribution group , then add users to receive forwards
2. Select mail box to set forward and under mailbox features -> Mail flow -> View details +
3. Select ‘Enable forwarding’ option and browse for the newly created distribution group . ( Make sure to select ‘Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox’ option to get mails in both location).
