Please navigate to this link if you’re looking to rename Domain Controller(DC) of your domain.

Sometimes there may raise a situation of changing domain name of successfully configured active directory due to various reasons. Scenario looks bit complex if the AD is in production environment having number of client workstations associated with it. Planning is key to achieve this requirement and obviously downtime is inevitable.
Planning:
1.Require downtime of AD services for sometimes according to your environment
2.Domain controllers and clients required to reboot for twice at least.
3.Configuration changes like re-joining to domain is not required in client workstations and users can still use their user credentials , user profiles & directory after reboot without any change since SID of the objects remains same.
4.AD Environment with Exchange server is not suitable for this operation.

I am planning to change my existing domain allnewamar.com to https://amar365.com. Primary task for renaming domain is adding a new DNS zone in server for new domain name (https://amar365.com)

(Command line used for renaming domain is rendom )

Open command prompt (Run as administrator) and execute the command rendom/list which will create a file called Domainlist.xml in C://windows/system32 location (or in location from where you have executed this command.

Open the Domainlist.xml file to edit and replace your current domain name to new name in all the places (allnewamar.com to https://amar365.com) . Save the file with samename .
